From Master of Communication Design graduate to designer and entrepreneur running her own business.
Thuy Nguyen has used her design skills and business experience to start a community-spirited toy company. Based in Vietnam, Bobi Craft provides stable jobs for around 400 disadvantaged people, including housewives, farmers and the vision impaired. A natural entrepreneur, Thuy is driven by a desire to create positive change. Bobi Craft is the second business she has founded with little more than a simple logo and website.
Thuy says her teachers at Swinburne challenged her while being incredibly supportive. “As an international student, I had a bit of a rough start. My teachers didn’t make it any easier for me, but they were patient enough to walk with me every step of the way.”
