AIU is a competitive destination with limited places. As such, please put careful consideration into choosing your second and third preference as back-up options.

Students applying to AIU need to meet the following requirements:

  • Completed at least 1 year of study at Swinburne (in their current degree) at the time of application;
  • Have a minimum 2.5 GPA (very strict requirement)

Classes are taught in English, except for language courses and a few courses in the Japanese Studies courses (for students with advanced Japanese language skills).
